HKBU recently received generous donations from Mr. Brian Cheng, Managing Director of GreenWalls Bioengineering (HK) Limited, in support of an innovative research project conducted by the Institute of Bioresource and Agriculture (IBA), as well as the establishment of a scholarship for nurturing agricultural professionals. Mr. Cheng also donated a tonne of EAW Sanitiser which can be used to produce 50 tonnes of hand sanitser and distributed for free by the Department of Biology to NGOs, schools and elderly homes.

An agreement signing ceremony was held on 11 June 2020. It was officiated by Mr. Brian Cheng; Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor; and Professor Jonathan Wong, MH, JP, Director of the IBA and Head of Department of Biology. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Yeung Chee Kong, Associate Vice-President (Engagement); Professor Zhang Jianhua, Dean of Science; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.

浸大與鄭良仁先生簽訂捐款協議

大學最近獲綠牆工程(香港)有限公司董事總經理鄭良仁先生慷慨捐資,支持浸大生物資源與農業研究所進行一項創新研究,並成立獎學金以培育新一代農業專才。此外,鄭先生亦捐出一噸EAW電解活性次氯酸抗菌原液,經稀釋後可製成50噸免洗手消毒液,由浸大生物系免費贈予志願機構、學校及老人院。

協定簽訂儀式於2020年6月11日舉行,由鄭良仁先生、校長錢大康教授以及生物資源與農業研究所所長兼生物系系主任黃煥忠教授,MH,JP主禮。協理副校長(外務)楊志剛先生、理學院院長張建華教授及發展事務處總監兼香港浸會大學基金秘書長陳鄭惠蘭女士亦在場見證。
