Dr. Wai-yee Chan, Lecturer and Associate Programme Director – MSc in EPHM of the Department of Biology of Hong Kong Baptist University, and a group of students majoring in environmental sciences and bioresources and agricultural science visited the BEC Building ("Green Lab") at Kowloon Tong on 4th March. The BEC Building has been awarded the Platinum, the highest rating, under BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 2.0 Comprehensive Scheme. Thanks to Ms. Sher, Ms. Ma and Mr. Szeto, the professional representatives of the Business Environment Council Ltd, for leading the teacher and students to visit this "Green Lab" and introducing the principles and performances of various innovative environmental protection facilities and equipment which improve its sustainability performance and enhance its resource efficiency. The students are equipped with essential knowledge of the importance of green buildings in sustainable development.
<香港浸會大學師生參觀商界環保協會大樓（環保實驗室）>
3月4日香港浸會大學浸大生物系講師、「環境及公共衛生管理理學碩士學位」副課程主任陳慧儀博士與一眾環保專業和生物資源及農業科的同學參觀位於九龍塘的商界環保協會大樓「環保實驗室」。商界環保協會大樓獲得「綠建環評既有建築」（2.0版）「綜合評估計劃」最高評級鉑金級認證。感謝商界環保協會的專業代表余小姐、梁小姐與司徒先生帶領師生參觀此「環保實驗室」並介紹各種創新的環保設施的原理和效益，改善可持續發展表現及提升資源效率，令同學深入瞭解到綠色建築在可持續發展的重要性。
