MPhil and PhD research degrees are an integral part of our academic ethos, where students are required to conduct independent research projects under the supervision of one or more of the department’s faculty members, with the relevant expertise. The topic of degree projects are either biotechnology or environmental science research related, with degrees awarded after satisfactory completion of a research programme demonstrating a level of originality.
