Professor Zhao Zhongying has been awarded a research project funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government's Environment and Conservation Fund titled "Initial sampling of terrestrial nematodes in Hong Kong country parks and streets to assess their biodiversity and potential as an indicator for soil health."
The study aims to conduct sampling of terrestrial nematodes in Hong Kong country parks and streets to obtain a preliminary understanding of local nematode biodiversity and abundance within 24 months. Comparing the biodiversity and abundance of nematodes in areas with varying levels of human activity will provide insights into how local human activities impact soil health.
浸大生物系教授趙中應教授獲得了香港特別行政區政府環境及自然保育基金資助一項名為“Initial sampling of terrestrial nematodes in Hong Kong country parks and streets to assess their biodiversity and potential as an indicator for soil health”.
