On 24 May 2025, Dr Anna Leung and Dr Veronica Chan led a group of MSc in Environmental and Public Health Management students and undergraduate students to visit the Tseung Kwan O Desalination Plant. The facility plays a key role in enhancing the water resilience of Hong Kong by desalinating seawater using reverse
osmosis. We extend our gratitude to Michelle Cheung, Resident Engineer of Binnies Hong Kong Ltd, for arranging the visit which provided the students with a deeper understanding of the operations of the plant and the commitment of the Water Supplies Department towards sustainable water solutions.
