【HKBU Biology visits Ningbo Life Science City to explore industry–academia collaboration 】
The academic team from HKBU’s Department of Biology recently visited Ningbo Life Science City for an industry–academia exchange with stakeholders in Fenghua District’s life and health sector!
With the support of district and park authorities, the visit moved from strategic briefings to concrete matchmaking between HKBU’s research capabilities and industry needs. The team then shared the Department’s strengths in molecular biology and marine bioresource development, highlighting projects with near-term commercialisation potential and possible translation pathways.
The team also toured the facilities at Servicebio Biotechnology and a life & health industrial park to understand industry needs and explore future collaboration opportunities.
We look forward to translating HKBU’s research strengths into real-world applications that support the development of the life and health sector !
