As part of the “Sustainable Futures: Green x Silver” Student Innovation Challenge 2026 「可持續未來：綠色 x 銀髮」學生創新挑戰賽2026, we hosted a dynamic “2-in-1: Hands-On Planting Workshop and Green Development Talk” on 16 April 2026. Co-facilitated by Dr. Anna LEUNG, Dr. Veronica CHAN, and the Agricultural Society HKBU, the workshop provided students with practical experience in organic and urban agriculture.
Participants were also introduced to the current impacts of climate change and key concepts such as low-carbon design, carbon neutrality, green building, and climate resilience tools. These topics enhanced their understanding of climate mitigation and adaptation, as well as the importance of adopting low-carbon development and sustainability, both locally and globally.
All workshop materials and the program rundown were thoughtfully prepared by the executive members of the Agricultural Society HKBU one month in advance, truly demonstrating excellent team spirit!
