As the building industry tackles climate change and prioritizes occupant wellness, “building green” has become essential. Thank you to Ir Dr Eddy Lau, Head of Green Labelling at Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), for delivering an inspiring Career Talk to our MSc in Environmental and Public Health Management (EPHM) students in the Department of Biology at Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC) on 21 Sep. This talk was supported by the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF). The students learned how the latest initiatives, such as natural-based solutions and circular construction, are being integrated into green building design and operations. Our MSc in EPHM and BSc (Hons) Applied Biology (Environmental Concentrations) programmes also offer students the valuable opportunity to attend BEAM Affiliate Training, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for a successful future in this dynamic industry.
