Outstanding HKBU students receive Jockey Club scholarships 浸大傑出學生獲頒香港賽馬會獎學金

Five HKBU undergraduate students have been awarded Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships 2020-21 in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and well-rounded development.


The five scholarship recipients are Chen Chi-kiu (Chinese Medicine, Year 3), Hung Yu-ki (Film and Television, Year 3), Leung Hoi-fung (Applied Biology, Year 3), Su Jiayi (Visual Arts, Year 3), and Tse Wing-sze (Music, Year 3).


A total of 45 students received their scholarships at a presentation ceremony on 2 November. Daniel Chan, an HKBU student and bronze medalist in the Badminton Men’s Singles WH2 event at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, was the Guest of Honour. He encouraged all the awardees to cherish what they have, believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.


Since 1998, Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships have been awarded to more than 800 outstanding Hong Kong and Mainland students for their intellect, character, leadership qualities and commitment to service.

五名浸大本科生獲頒2020-21年度香港賽馬會獎學金,表揚他們的傑出學術表現和全面發展。

 

五位獎學金得主是陳滋蕎(中醫藥學三年級)、孔蕷淇(電影電視三年級)、梁凱豐(應用生物學三年級)、蘇嘉怡(視覺藝術三年級)和謝穎詩(音樂三年級)。

 

頒授典禮在11月2日舉行,以嘉許45名獎學金得主。浸大學生兼東京殘疾人奧運羽毛球男子WH2級單打銅牌得主陳浩源擔任典禮的主禮嘉賓,他寄語得獎學生珍惜所有,相信自己並放膽追夢。

 

香港賽馬會獎學金自1998年成立以來,已向超過800名學術表現和品格卓越、具領導才能、熱心參與社會事務的香港及內地學生頒授獎學金。
