Visit the Jockey Club Environmental Building (“JCEB”)
Dr. Wai-yee Chan, lecturer in the Department of Biology of Hong Kong Baptist University, and a group of students majoring in environmental sciences and bioresources and agricultural science visited the JCEB at Kowloon Tong. The JCEB has recently been awarded the Platinum, the highest rating, under BEAM Plus Existing Buildings Version 2.0 Comprehensive Scheme. Thanks to Mr. Szeto and Ms. Leung, the professional representatives of the Business Environment Council Ltd, for leading the teacher and students to visit this "GreenLab" and introducing the principles and performances of various environmental protection facilities and equipment. The students equip with essential knowledge of importance of green buildings in sustainable development.
<香港浸會大學師生參觀賽馬會環保樓>
2023年2月17日學生物系講師陳慧儀博士與一眾環保專業和生物資源及農業科的同學參觀位於九龍塘的賽馬會環保樓。賽馬會環保樓最近獲得「綠建環評既有建築」（2.0版）「綜合評估計劃」最高評級鉑金級認證。
感謝商界環保協會的專業代表司徒先生與梁小姐帶領師生參觀此「環保實驗室」並介紹各種環保設施的原理和效益，令同學深入瞭解到綠色建築在可持續發展的重要性。
