Dr. Baiying Li is currently an assistant professor of the Department of Biology at the Hong Kong Baptist University. She received both her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology and the postdoctoral training from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in Professor Liwen Jiang’s plant molecular biology lab. Dr. Li ’s research areas mainly focus on plant endomembrane protein trafficking, in vitro vesicle reconstitution, autophagy, and pathway crosstalk especially the modulation of the endomembrane system by plant hormones.
