Dr. Hong YAN is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). With a Ph.D training from China Agricultural University and UC Davis, she specializes in chemometrics, metabolomics, and machine learning modeling. During her postdoctoral training at Yale University, Dr. Yan developed expertise in advanced research methodologies, including cancer biology and bioinformatics. Her research primarily focuses on tumor metabolomics and multi-omics network analysis, with a particular interest in colorectal cancer metabolomic reprogramming, ferroptosis, KRAS mutations, precision medicine, drug repurposing, and bioinformatics-driven data mining.
