Positions for PhD students, Research Assistants, or Postdoctoral Research Fellows are available immediately in the Laboratory of Plant Stress Biology. The group is studying the molecular mechanisms for plant responses and tolerance to environmental stresses, particularly, drought stress. Interested individuals with research experience in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply: biochemistry (e.g., protein posttranslational modifications, protein-protein interactions, and proteomics), plant cell wall/vascular tissues, metabolism, stomatal development and movement, or bioinformatics.
